Movie Club 2026

Planning for next year:

The suggestion is that for January to June 2026 we meet once per month, either Friday evening or Saturday afternoon, the last week of the month, alternating, based on the best availability of participants..

Potential dates: Jan 30/31, Feb 30/31, Mar 27/28.Apr 24/25, May 29/30, Jun 26/27

Participants each suggest 1 or 2 movies which particularly interest them, which they would like to discuss with others. Movies suggested should be available on more than one streaming platform (we realizes that this is a moving target), With your suggestion also indicate your preferred meeting time, Friday night 7:00 to 8:30 p.m., or Saturday afternoon, 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., and also note any dates/times for which you know you cannot attend.

By suggesting a movie you commit yourself (if your movie is selected) to be present at the time it is to be discussed, and also to begin the discussion with a short introduction and some starter questions.

Send your suggestions (and other comments) to Gerry Mueller. Zoom coordinates will be sent to all who sent in suggestions, along with the final schedule.

General information about movie club:

Watch the movie at home when you wish, then join the group on Zoom at the scheduled time for a discussion.  

The movies selected are checked for availability, and usually are on several of the more popular streaming services. Checking  on IMDb.com, Plex or Reelgood may help you to find information about current streaming availability
