Weekly, or seasonal study groups, or other opportunities to explore our faith, conducted in person or online.
In recent years we have offered a variety of formation opportunities, such as Lenten book studies (using materials by Amy-Jill Levine, Samuel Wells, Michael Marshall, and even the dystopian novel The Road by Cormac McCarthy), movie-based discussions, The Advent Conspiracy video and book-based study group.
Our (currently) twice-monthly online services on Zoom can be an important part of formation for participants, as well. At certain times — usually coinciding with particular holy days — we have heard from special guest speakers, such as Bishop Todd Townshend, Archbishop Linda Nicholls, Canon Mark Loyal, and Sister Connie from the Sisterhood of St. John the Divine.
