We will be reading a modern classic, the novel, “I Heard the Owl Call My Name” by Margaret Craven, first published in 1967. This short, powerful and moving story follows the spiritual journey of a young Anglican priest assigned to shepherd a small, remote Indigenous community on British Columbia’s rugged Pacific coast. We will discuss its rich themes during a 5-week series on Monday evenings at 7 pm (Feb 23, Mar 2, 9, 16 and 23) in the Bailey Parlour.  Books will be available on Sunday for participants.
